About me
Dr. Christa Nadjafi received her medical degree at the Humboldt University in Berlin in 1961 and her doctorate at the Medical Academy in Düsseldorf in 1963. She specialised in Gynaecology and Obstetrics at the Cantonal Hospital in Liestal, Switzerland, in 1969. She joined Geigy (later Ciba-Geigy , later Novartis) in 1970 as Medical Advisor in Endocrinology and became International Project Leader for Aromatase Inhibitors from 1980- 88, and in 1985 additionally for Estraderm, a hormone replacement therapy project. From 1988-1992 Dr. Nadjafi was Medical Director of Ciba-Geigy Pharma Switzerland. In 1992 she was appointed Auditor and Training Coordinator in the Medical Dept. at Headquarters and was Head of Training and Chairman of the Global Training Board from November 1993 to December 1996. From 1974 to December 1997 she had a weekly practice for “Hormone Disorders and Hormone Replacement Therapy” in the Department of Gynaecology, University Hospital Basel, Switzerland. From 1997–2003 she was Consultant Women’s Health for Quintiles Europe. After a special training in Preventive Medicine in 2003 (GSAAM) she has a weekly practice for hormone disorders and preventive medicine, primarily for men; coaches doctors in treating aging men; and gives lectures.
